Heavy Losses Inflicted upon Terrorists in Damascus Countryside and Homs

A unit of the Armed Forces on Thursday repelled a terrorist group’s attempt to attack a military checkpoint in Tal Sreij in Damascus Countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
A military source told SANA that different sorts of weapons were confiscated including BKC machineguns, rifles, RPG launchers and amounts of ammunition.
The source pointed out that terrorist Mohammad Khaled Mawardi, a terrorist group leader, was identified among the dead.
Units of the Armed Forces continued pursuing vanquished terrorists in Daraya city, killing many of them and dismantling explosive devices planted by them in the city streets.
An official source told SANA reporter that a number of terrorists, including a leader of an armed terrorist group, were killed to the east of Sharideh Square, al-Alali neighborhood and al-Shaiyah area in the city.
The source added that a missile launch pad, a number of missiles and a bulldozer were destroyed.
In a relevant context, an engineering unit neutralized five explosive devices, weighing between 20 to 30 kg, which the terrorists planted in the city streets to be remotely detonated.
Meanwhile, the army units continued hunting terrorists in Ein Tarma and Erbin, directing blows to their gatherings and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
An official source told SANA that an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in Ein Tarma in Damascus countryside.
The army unit destroyed a number of vehicles, killing all the terrorists inside, including Jihad al-Khatib, Mohammad Omeira, Salah Mousa and Hisham Husni.
Another army unit carried out an operation against terrorists’ gatherings in Erbin, killing many terrorists and injuring others.
Terrorists Burhan al-Qatayef, Mohammad al-Kurdi, Qasem Idrid, Malek Ghannoum, Mohammad Hamed Talleh and Nabil Husni Dallal were identified among the killed.
Vehicles, Weapons Seized, Explosive workshops Found in Homs
Army units confiscated a number of vehicles, weapons and ammunition, some of which are of Israeli origins, in addition to communication devices in Joubar area in Homs.
An official source told SANA reporter that the seized items included a number of machinegun-equipped cars, an armored vehicle, motorbikes, a workshop for manufacturing explosives, an Israeli Uzi submachine gun, a mortar launcher, modern communication devices, contact station and RPG bombs.
Terrorists Killed, Injured in Clashes because of Dispute over Dividing Loot in Idleb
Terrorists were killed while others were injured in a clash between two terrorist groups after a dispute over dividing the loot in Harem in the countryside of Idleb.
An official source told SANA reporter that terrorists from the so-called “Shuhada Idleb Brigade” and “Shuhada Harem Brigade” were killed and injured in clashes because of a dispute over dividing the loot.
The Armed Forces Eliminate Terrorists in Aleppo and its Countryside
Units of the Armed Forces carried out series of qualitative operations, destroying terrorists’ dens and gatherings along with weapons and ammunition inside them.
An official source told SANA reporter that the Army units carried out series of qualitative operations against terrorists’ dens in al-Azezia area, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Khalil Eydo al-Shagil who is leader of an armed terrorist group, Ahmad al-Ashkar known as “the mouse” were identified among the killed terrorists, while terrorist Abdul Jabar al-Nabhan who is known as al-Malla was injured seriously.
The source added that other Army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ gatherings in al-Atarib, Kafer Hamra, Darit Ezza, Ming, Kouiris and al-Bab city along with their weapons and ammunition.
In Aleppo city, an Army unit destroyed a number of terrorists’ dens and gatherings in al-Sakhour, Karim al-Tarrab, al-Katirgi, al-Ma’srania, Bab al-Naser, al-Miser, al-Nakarin, al-Sha’ar and Kadi Askar.
