Revolutionary Youth Delegation Visits Injured Army Members
A delegation of the branches of Damascus and Damascus Countryside of the Revolutionary Youth Union on Thursday visited injured army members at Martyr Youssef al-Azmeh Hospital in Damascus.
The delegation members gave flowers and gifts to the injured personnel at various wards in the hospital expressing their thanks and gratitude to them for their sacrifices in defending the homeland.
“This visit is a simple expression of gratitude for those who are offering their blood every day in order for Syria to achieve victory and build the future of its youth,” said Fadi Hassan, Secretary of Damascus Branch of the Union.
He stressed that the Syrian Army members are the example to achieve victory.
For his part, Fatima Rashid, Secretary of Damascus Countryside Branch of the Union, said the visit to the injured army members comes within a series of activities carried out by the Revolutionary Youth Union which include honoring families of martyrs, visiting army checkpoints and tree planting campaigns at the Martyrs’ Cemetries.
She pointed out that the aim of these activities is to stress the unity between the youths and their society and the role played by the youth in the framework of confronting the conspiracy targeting Syria.
Youths in Homs Stress Support for Syrian Army
In the same context, a delegation of Homs branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union visited wounded army personnel at a number of hospitals in the province to express appreciation of their sacrifices and achievements in the confrontation against the terrorist groups.
The participant youths voiced their happiness over standing by the injured army members who are defending Syria’s land, stressing that the Syrian youth will always support the Syrian army and offer whatever they can to restore normal life back to all over Syria.
